Masseria Pagani
The Masseria Pagani is a fortified farmhouse dating back to the 15th century and is the ideal place for your holidays in the Salento. Here, historical and natural attractions await to be discovered. There is, for example, culture and baroque art in the nearby town of Nardò, nature and prehistory in the Porto Selvaggio nature reserve and the Grotta del Cavallo cave, crystal waters, snorkelling and diving in the seaside village of Santa Caterina. The Masseria has been elegantly refurbished while retaining its original charm and cosy atmosphere. Accommodation is provided in suites and rooms equipped to a very high standard. The beds are very comfortable and, upon request, natural latex or goose feather pillows are also available.

For breakfast, you’ll have an amazing choice of homemade cakes, organic fruit preserves, local cheese, fresh fruit, fresh bread, cereals, yoghurts and more… everything is made with the finest local produce. Our breakfast also features local specialties such as the pasticciotto, a shortbread custard-filled sweet, or such as the rustico, a puff-pastry pie filled with tomato and mozzarella cheese.
Our superb, beautifully-designed salty-water swimming pool is set in a courtyard enclosed by dry stone walls, and is the ideal place to enjoy a stress-free and relaxing break after a hectic day of sightseeing. Enjoy a calm and relaxing swim, or read a book lying on a deck chair along the pool whilst sipping our aperitifs, or just idle in front of the sunset and get away from it all.
We are happy to organise aperitifs and local food-tasting in the Masseria’s smaller courtyard, by the swimming pool during the summer season or in front of the roaring fire of the quiet and cosy lounge in spring and autumn.
