The ‘Griko’ Carnival takes place in some of the many villages that are geographically and culturally part of the ‘Grecìa Salentina’, in Salento,
from 22/02/19 to 10/03/19.
It represents the manifestation of rights; its main purpose is to underline the importance of interculturality, pacifism, accessibility and green life, passing through the working-class popular culture and the local youth’s point of view.
Come and enjoy the funniest and irreverent parade of carnival floats on March the 3rd in Martignano (Le) where in the end there will be
big prizes for the best carnival floats.
The entrance is free for all the events.
